At Croots Country Store in Sandbank, we’re proud to be surrounded by the hills, forests, and coastlines of Argyll — home to some of Scotland’s most stunning wildlife. From red squirrels and garden birds to deer, seals, and even the occasional golden eagle, there’s always something special to see.

That’s why we’ve launched Wildlife Wednesday. Every week we invite you to share your best wildlife photos — whether taken in your own garden, spotted from the car, or captured while exploring the outdoors. Each Wednesday we’ll showcase a selection of your photos on our Facebook page and feature them right here on our website.

It’s a chance to celebrate the wonderful wildlife of Cowal, Argyll, and beyond, while sharing the moments that make living close to nature so rewarding.
