THIS MONTHS CONTENDERS

Stubborn loving and bossy Obedient when he feels like it Photos then and now.

Cooper is the best dog, hands down. His cuddly personality makes him the perfect snuggle buddy—always ready to curl up and offer comfort. But he’s also a lovable rascal, especially with his sock-stealing habit. Whether he’s running away with socks or showering you with affection, Cooper’s mix of mischief and love makes him truly one of a kind.

6 year old lenny has came on leaps and bound since adopting him 4 years ago. For a rather hard beginning in life to bagging 12 munros this year, I'vefinallyfoundca way to tire him out....my best friend and co-pilot.

The best travel companion! Always so well behaved and loves to explore with her family!

She's a very active dog and loves chasing and fetching ball but for the past two months has been laying low from a cut on her leg and has been so good and patient she deserves to be spoiled.

She loved spending her paw-ket money with you today!

Draco is now 8 years old but you wouldn't think it. He is the biggest baby and wants all your attention and cuddles, he is the best friend you could ask for.

He is full of energy and fun loves chilling and getting cuddles.

Well behaved, loving and faithful, beautiful.

At 14 year old and always been the only dog of the family he has taken his little puppy sister under his wing and he is a total softy with her, even if she is being a pain in the arse.

He is a rescue dog who was born in Bosnia, spent the first year of his life in a breeding kennel, knowing only concrete and cages. He was one when he came to us and he will be ten years old on 3rd August. Nine years of pure love he has given to us. He wears his heart on his nose- literally- he has a little white heart on his nose. Unfortunately, due to being caged for his first year, he suffers with arthritis and hip dysplasia; does it stop him- no- he loves running with his ball on the beach....

Tilly is my Christmas (2021) present from my lovely 3 children. She's a Cairnnoodle, her Mum is a Cairn Terrier and her Dad a chocolate brown miniature poodle, both from Tillicoultry. Tilly is raw feed, she absolutely loves her Venison dinner we buy from Croots. Her favourite spot is sitting watching the front gate, waiting for the postman or anyone passing, then it's bark, bark time!! She chases the crows away from my strawberry plants, buts happy to let the small birds have a splash....

She is our wee Star, pocket rocket (fuelled by raw venison offcuts & raw meat diet from Croots if course). We rehomed her 2 1/2 yrs ago & like to think she is living her best life here in Carrick Castle. Exploring the mountain ranges, swimming in Loch Goil & being the best companion we could ever ask for That's our girl.

Mr. Strauss joined me at 10 weeks old, he’s now nine years old and is the most gentlemanly dog I’ve ever had. I believe he was born with manners, he’s even mannerly with the other dogs sharing my life. Strauss is intuitive, and displays compassion, especially while I navigated changes in my life. While I was recently ill, Strauss became different towards me, often resting his head on my tummy and staring at me, I believe he knew I was unwell, he knew before I did. He’s my number one man.

Bryan is a bat eared Jack Russell. He’s a devoted little warrior who protects his mummy to within an inch of his life, actually he just makes lots of noise but if there’s a puff of wind he’s hiding behind my legs. He’s a 101% devoted wee chap who came into his own when my husband and I separated. Until then he had never been outside without a longline. The day I became one, Bryan became my shadow and has never had a longline on since. He’s my main man and man of the house.

Bracken has a great ability to go from a soft house dog but as soon as the tweeds are on he know it's work time.

Loves his sleeps, especially in the sun, loves his cuddles, loves his treats and loves his golden retriever pals.

She loves every human - she understands every word you say - she is quiet and a wee bit nervous of things she doesn’t like or understand - all in all a lovely collie.

She is the best company whether it’s snuggling on the sofa, going for a walk or splashing in the sea.

She’s not the outdoorsy type but she loves venison!

Our Barra arrived at our home on the Saturday the 14th and so far he’s proved that he is a good clever pup , already knows his name , sit down and paw commands. He just brighten up my days as I was unhappy before.

Most cuddly playful girl and loves a good pose.

Ah jay is so clever and loving and friendly and so chilled out for a German shepherd.

Very loyal companions, lovely nature's & best friends.

Roxy is a beautiful fun loving 4 and a half month old pup, she’s cheeky and loves nothing more than chewing on her yak snack and chasing after a ball but will also be happy curling up on your lap, she has the cutest lil fuzzy belly ever, she’s just all round a very good girl!

Toby is full of fun and mischief. He is a registered support animal and goes to work every Friday to the mental health care team at cowal community hospitsl, the clients love him.

Bella was in two homes before she found her forever home with myself . She won't leave my side and is full of love x

She’s a cheeky puppy who’s working her way through a selection of stuffed calcium bones, pigs ears and pigs trotters all bought from Croots.

Ruby has the biggest emotions of any dog you'll ever meet. Full of endless amounts of love and cuddles. And eyes to die for 🥰
