How to Use
Use the tool only on a completely dry coat.
 
Before grooming:
Check your dog’s skin for sores, bruising, redness or other irritation.
Remove any mats or tangles using a suitable grooming rake or dematting tool.
Ensure your dog is comfortable and settled.
 
Gently move the tool through the coat in the direction of hair growth. Use long, light strokes, working from the head towards the rear of the dog.
 
Take extra care around the stomach, legs and other sensitive areas. Avoid repeatedly grooming the same area or applying excessive pressure. Press the FURejector button to release collected hair from the stainless-steel edge.
 
Recommended Grooming Routine
For best results, FURminator recommends using the tool weekly for approximately 10–20 minutes. More frequent grooming may be helpful during periods of heavier seasonal shedding, depending on the individual dog’s coat.
