To use the slicker, slowly and gently brush the hair in the direction of the fur growth. The bendy pins will pull away loose hairs leaving a smooth and neat coat. If your dog is comfortable with the slicker, press gently on the tool to remove more fur from the undercoat. The pins of the slicker are bendy to prevent discomfort, however, do not press them into your dog’s skin. To remove a tangle, isolate the fur and gently pull the slicker through the tangle, starting fro from the outside and working in as the fur de-tangles. To ensure your dog has an enjoyable grooming session, start gently.
