Greyhounds, whippets and lurchers have long, slender necks, so a standard narrow collar may not always provide the most suitable fit.
The traditional hound collar shape is wider across the neck, helping spread pressure over a larger area while providing a secure fit for sighthounds.
Top-Grain Bridle Leather
Ancol’s Heritage range uses top-grain bridle leather selected for strength and durability.
Leather is a natural material, so slight variations in grain, colour and finish are normal and help give each collar its own character.

Leather Care
Leather is naturally porous and should not be saturated with water.
If the collar becomes wet, allow it to air dry naturally.
Do not use direct heat to speed up drying.
Ancol recommends treating leather products with a suitable leather conditioner approximately once a year to help maintain their condition.
Store in a dry place when not in use.
Safety Advice
Check the leather, stitching, buckle and D-ring regularly for signs of wear or damage.
Replace the collar if any part becomes damaged or insecure.
Always ensure the collar is correctly fitted before attaching a lead.
